Tax Payments

Payments via IRS AccountSelect the "Make a Payment" option and enter the payment type.  

*For Tax Return Payments and Extension Payments, be sure to select the year shown on the tax return, not the current calendar year.  For Estimated Tax Payments, select the year to which you want the payment to apply.

If you don't have an IRS account, make payments via the IRS Direct Pay link to the left.  *You should establish your IRS account now, however, to make managing your federal tax account easier going forward.  

Tax Return Balance Due: Select "Balance Due", "Income Tax - Form 1040", and the tax year shown on the tax return (NOT the current calendar year).

Estimated Tax Payment: Select "Estimated Tax", "1040ES", and the tax year to which you want the payment to apply.

Extension Payment: Select "Extension" and the tax year for which you want an extension (NOT the current calendar year).

Payments via INTIME:

Tax Return Payments and Estimated Tax Payments:  Select the "Make a Payment" link and enter the payment type.  

*For Tax Return Payments, be sure to select the year shown on the tax return, not the current calendar year.  For Estimated Tax Payments, select the year to which you want the payment to apply.

*I recommend allocating 100% of your payments to "State".

Extension Payments:  Select the "All Actions" tab and then select the "Request Extension" link.  

*I recommend allocating 100% of your payments to "State".

If you don't have an INTIME account, make payments via INTIME by using the instructions below.  *You should establish your INTIME account now, however, to make managing your Indiana tax account easier going forward.  

Tax Return Payment and Estimated Tax Payment:  Select "Make a Payment, then select "Non-Bill Payments" and follow the steps above. 

Extension Payment:  Select "Make a Payment, then select "Request Extension".  After entering your data, you'll be able to make an extension payment.  *I recommend allocating 100% of your payment to "State".
